That said, given I submitted several stories to a few competitions through the same portal, they were all marked "declined". I am certain that I used "fuck", "shit", "damn", and maybe even "bitch" (which echoes a more playful use between two adult women). I may have also discriminated, who know. Don't care. English is a robust and feature-filled language with a 1000 year history and the ability to freely incorporate words from any other language.
I get it.... So if your fiction has a discriminatory character in it, is this contest unwilling to accept your piece?
